Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to build and lead our QA automation practice. As a founding member of the QA function, you will work closely with backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps and product teams to ensure high‑quality, reliable releases for our fintech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks for web, mobile, API and third‑party integration testing.
• Build and maintain regression, integration, smoke, contract and performance test suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and define quality gates for pull requests, nightly runs and production releases.
• Test critical fintech workflows such as onboarding, KYC, payroll‑driven flows, wallet operations, contributions, investments and withdrawals.
• Own third‑party integration testing with banks, government KYC services, investment platforms, SMS, email and HR/payroll providers.
• Develop record/replay testing strategies, sandbox smoke tests and synthetic probes to detect integration issues early.
• Review requirements and user stories to define test scenarios before development starts.
• Surface quality metrics, triage automated test results and production issues, and mentor future QA team members.

Required profile

• 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years focused on test automation.
• Proactive, technical mindset with strong ownership and ability to build QA processes from the ground up.
• Experience working in fast‑moving, regulated fintech environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• API testing expertise, including REST APIs and authentication flows.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with automated test integration.
• Designing robust test frameworks and quality gates.
