Senior Downstream Corporate Commercial Counsel – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Downstream Corporate Commercial Counsel to join a prestigious Saudi Arabian organisation. The role will focus on providing expert legal advice on downstream corporate commercial matters within a large in‑house legal department.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on fuel, chemical, power‑systems and pipeline administration contracts and transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements related to downstream oil and gas activities.
• Support the business units with regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on complex commercial issues.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience as a corporate commercial lawyer in the oil and gas sector.
• Experience gained in a multinational in‑house legal department or a leading international law firm.
• Demonstrated track record handling fuel, chemical, power‑systems and pipeline administration matters.
• Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region is advantageous but not mandatory.
