Senior Legal Assistant, Transaction

About the role

The Senior Legal Assistant – Transaction will support Olayan in preparing and managing a wide range of transactional legal documents, from purchase agreements to license contracts. The role focuses on minimizing legal risks, conducting thorough research, and providing accurate legal analysis to internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise and amend transaction‑related documents such as purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, salary agreements, distribution agreements and license agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to deliver timely advice on transactional matters.
• Assess potential risks and opportunities associated with various transactions.
• Perform legal due diligence for joint‑venture projects, reviewing documents for lawsuits, IP issues and other risks.
• Source and coordinate external law firms, ensuring alignment with Olayan’s policies.
• Prepare and amend external communication documents to ensure compliance with transaction frameworks.
• Maintain accurate records of all legal transactions and communications.
• Liaise with government bodies, such as the Ministry of Commerce, and represent Olayan in legal discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Law or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in the legal field, preferably with a focus on transactions.
