Architect Inspector

About the role

AECOM is seeking a detail‑oriented Architect Inspector to join its Riyadh team. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian building codes, design specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections of architectural elements, structural components, and construction work at all project stages.
• Verify that work complies with approved drawings, local building codes, and AECOM’s quality standards.
• Document findings with detailed reports, photographs, and technical notes.
• Analyze construction quality, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate inspection results to project managers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain organized records of inspection activities and schedules.
• Stay up‑to‑date with evolving building codes and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural inspection, quality assurance, or construction site oversight.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian building codes, architectural standards, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and architectural specifications.
• Experience with digital inspection tools and documentation software.
