Civil Inspector – Bridges Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Inspector to lead bridge and road inspection activities on our infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure that contractors adhere to contract specifications, approved drawings and methodologies, while providing clear daily reports to project management.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out inspections on all road and bridge works in progress, verifying compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.
• Monitor contractor progress daily and report findings to line management and the Resident Engineer.
• Inspect, check, and record that work is executed in accordance with approved methodologies and site instructions.
• Identify and report any non‑conformities, ensuring timely corrective actions.
• Check service locations, protect utilities, and verify that site instructions are followed.
• Collaborate with the wider project team to resolve technical issues and maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction inspection, preferably on bridge and road projects.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• High integrity, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
