Finance Director – Lead Financial Strategy & Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Director to lead the finance function of Visit Red Sea (VRS) within our Shared Services. The role will shape financial strategy, ensure rigorous accounting and compliance, and provide insight that drives the long‑term success of our destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial direction and advisory support to senior leadership and the VRS Shared Services team.
• Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, internal controls and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, develop rolling forecasts, perform variance analysis and build financial models.
• Manage the preparation and delivery of timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring statutory compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team across accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting functions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within a multi‑entity or shared‑services environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
• Proven ability to drive budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with a track record of influencing senior decision‑makers.
• Demonstrated experience in building and leading high‑performing finance teams.
