Gate Controller

About the role

The Gate Controller ensures the safety and security of the premises by enforcing company regulations, assisting individuals with special needs, and maintaining a secure environment at all entry points.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce Health, Security, Safety and Environment (HSSE) regulations and company policies.
• Assist people with special needs at the gates.
• Implement 100% of NAPCO HSSE procedures and report any safety or security concerns immediately.
• Monitor property entrances and electronic surveillance equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow all security guidelines, complete required security forms, and maintain vigilance at assigned posts.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with the safety team.
• Contain and manage problematic situations involving employees, contractors, or visitors, escalating when necessary.
• Coordinate with plant management on security exceptions and uphold the 5S program in the guard house.

• Ability to enforce HSSE regulations and company policies.
• Willingness to assist individuals with special needs.
• Strong sense of vigilance and presence at security posts.
• Capability to respond quickly to emergencies and coordinate with safety teams.
