General Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The General Manager will lead Le Méridien Medina, a premium Marriott‑branded hotel serving religious and business travelers in the holy city of Medina. The role demands a seasoned hospitality executive who can drive profitability, guest satisfaction and strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with Marriott’s global plan to maximise market share, revenue and guest experience.
• Oversee all hotel operations including rooms, food & beverage, meetings and events, ensuring high standards of service and financial performance.
• Lead and coach the executive team, manage talent pipelines, and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and revenue management to generate revenue, optimise pricing and increase occupancy.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, asset managers and local stakeholders, providing regular performance analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 8‑10 years progressive hotel leadership experience, with at least 5 years as General Manager of an upscale or luxury brand.
• Proven track record of delivering strong financial results and guest satisfaction.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Deep understanding of the Saudi hospitality market and experience serving corporate and religious travel segments.
