Legal Counsel – KSA

About the role

The Legal Counsel will support AECOM’s operations in Saudi Arabia, providing proactive, solution‑focused legal advice to internal teams and clients. You will ensure compliance with local laws, policies and corporate governance while mitigating legal risks.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with KSA team members and attend client meetings.
• Develop detailed knowledge of Saudi laws, policies and procedures applicable to AECOM.
• Provide timely, legally sound advice on contracts, tenders, employment agreements, MoUs and bonds.
• Support business leads on strategic pursuits and operational matters.
• Advise on ethics, compliance and risk minimisation under applicable regulations.
• Deliver regular training on topical legal issues.
• Assist with project reviews, audits and development of standard contract templates.

Required profile

• Minimum four (8) years of post‑admission legal experience.
• Ability to read and speak Arabic fluently.
• Law degree from a reputable university; practising certificate preferred.
• Experience in a top‑tier law firm, multinational corporation or construction/engineering sector is strongly desirable.
• Middle‑East experience, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is highly valued.
