Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to support the sourcing, purchasing and supplier management processes for our manufacturing operations. The role ensures timely, cost-effective and quality-compliant delivery of materials and services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue RFQs, compare quotations and generate purchase orders.
• Follow up with suppliers on quotations, order confirmations and delivery schedules.
• Monitor open purchase orders and track delivery performance.
• Compile commercial comparison sheets and assist in supplier evaluation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with planning, production, warehouse, quality and finance teams.
• Report procurement status, highlight delays and support performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing or supply-chain support.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage.
• Good command of English; Arabic is a plus.
• Professional procurement or supply-chain certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Proficiency with ERP or dedicated procurement systems.
