Quality Manager – Bridges

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance across bridge and road projects. The role combines on‑site quality leadership with consultancy support for clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) for road and highway projects.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, contractual specifications, employer requirements and authority standards.
• Act as the Quality Management Representative for site operations.
• Oversee QA/QC activities for earthworks, subgrade, embankments, asphalt and pavement works, drainage, utilities, road furniture and traffic management systems.
• Approve and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements and Work Procedures.
• Manage material approvals, laboratory testing and site inspections in line with project and authority requirements.
• Plan and conduct internal, vendor and external audits; lead non‑conformance management, root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Track and report quality KPIs, trends and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors and regulatory bodies; provide quality consultancy to clients.
• Deliver training on quality standards, road construction best practices and quality tools such as RCA, FMEA and Six Sigma.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, quality management or a related discipline.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
• 20+ years of quality management experience on bridge and large‑scale road/transportation projects.
• Proven experience managing site‑based quality operations and providing consultancy services.
• Familiarity with UAE or regional road authority standards is an advantage.
