Senior Accountant - Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to take full ownership of our Accounts Payable function. In this pivotal role, you will ensure financial integrity by applying rigorous accounting principles, maintaining strict internal controls, and ensuring full compliance with local regulatory standards in Saudi Arabia.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle, including 3-way matching and vendor statement reconciliations.
• Oversee operational accounting entries and prepare cash and bank vouchers.
• Ensure all vendor invoices strictly comply with ZATCA requirements.
• Guarantee full compliance with ZATCA and SOCPA standards.
• Support the preparation and timely submission of VAT declarations.
• Review monthly payroll reports and manage necessary accounting provisions.
• Provide detailed expenditure analysis and financial insights to the Finance Manager.
• Maintain rigorous accounting controls to safeguard company assets.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience specifically within Saudi Arabia.
• Proven expertise in managing complex Accounts Payable processes.
• Strong technical knowledge of Saudi financial regulations and tax laws.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.

Required Skills

• Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, data analysis).
