Senior .NET Core Developer

About the role

Nextwo is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to lead the design, development, and architecture of its server‑side applications. You will act as a technical lead within the backend team, championing best practices, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the platform remains scalable, secure, and high‑performing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and architecture of backend services and APIs using .NET Core frameworks.
• Make critical technical decisions regarding system design, scalability, and performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code, setting quality standards for the team.
• Design, implement, and optimize SQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers, QA, and product teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, including performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability at an architectural level.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional backend development experience.
• Proven ability to lead technical decisions and mentor junior developers.
• Strong understanding of system scalability, performance optimization, and security.
