Traffic Inspector - Road and Bridges

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Traffic Inspector to oversee traffic management on active road and bridge construction sites in Riyadh. The role ensures that traffic diversions are implemented safely and in line with approved Traffic Management Plans, while coordinating with contractors and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and verify traffic diversion setups according to approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs).
• Monitor live traffic conditions and recommend corrective actions to maintain smooth flow and safety.
• Ensure proper installation and maintenance of signage, barriers, cones, delineators, and lighting.
• Conduct site risk assessments and provide solutions for safe vehicle and pedestrian movement.
• Coordinate diversion arrangements with contractors, site engineers, and government authorities.
• Verify compliance with local traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Report non‑conformities, follow up on rectifications, and prepare daily inspection reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on site experience in traffic inspection or traffic diversions on road construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of traffic control devices, road safety procedures, and diversion execution.
• Experience working in live traffic environments and fast‑paced construction sites.
• Ability to interpret and enforce Traffic Management Plans.
• Familiarity with Saudi traffic regulations and standards.
