Accountant – Finance Shared Services

About the role

The Accountant will verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and the General Ledger. You will ensure accounting accuracy in line with principles and reporting schedules while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform domestic supplier reconciliations for E4 and inter‑company invoicing.
• Prepare and submit monthly GL reconciliations and suspense account updates.
• Compile VAT return files, assist with VAT submissions and maintain audit‑ready VAT documentation.
• Handle bank and cash reconciliations, including SL revaluations.
• Post payroll, leave and bonus journals in Scala and manage related accruals.
• Process Concur transactions, reconcile GL accounts 101101 & 141000.
• Maintain IFRS 16 schedules and post lease liability interest.
• Manage company credit cards, sales and stock module updates.
• Support finance manager with GL accounting, year‑end audit preparation and external tax/assurance consultants.
