Activation Lead

About the role
The Activation Lead will own the end‑to‑end user activation journey, guiding new users from signup through their first reservation. You will work closely with CRM, Product, Performance, Design, and Analytics teams to boost onboarding efficiency, conversion rates, and overall user engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Own and continuously optimise the activation funnel across app, CRM, and product touchpoints.
- Drive Day‑0, Day‑7 and first‑booking activation KPIs.
- Design, implement and iterate onboarding journeys, nudges, lifecycle flows and activation campaigns.
- Partner with Product and CRO teams to surface friction points and improve conversion performance.
- Collaborate with Performance and Search teams to align acquisition quality with activation outcomes.
- Analyse user behaviour, cohorts, drop‑off points and funnel performance to uncover growth opportunities.
- Lead experimentation and A/B testing initiatives focused on activation and conversion optimisation.
- Coordinate with CRM and content teams to deliver relevant, personalised messaging throughout the user journey.
- Build reporting dashboards and provide regular performance updates to leadership.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in Growth, CRM, Performance Marketing, Product Marketing or Lifecycle Marketing.
- Strong understanding of app funnels, user behaviour and activation strategies.
- Proven ability to work with analytics and CRM platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience managing cross‑functional projects with Product and Tech teams.
- Comfortable thriving in fast‑paced, performance‑driven environments.
