AFR Operations Specialist

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding as an AFR Operations Specialist in Riyadh, supporting the end‑to‑end freight business across air, ocean and road. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and in line with service commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, incident and complaint management, ad‑hoc pricing and claims.
• Capture correct costs and revenues, resolve simple and complex billing issues.
• Administer shipment activities from booking receipt to documentation and transport execution.
• Track, record and analyse operational exceptions, driving continuous improvement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for commodities and destinations.
• Route shipments to appropriate consolidations to meet service levels and maximise profit.
• Prepare invoices, debit/credit notes and supporting documents, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Investigate invoice disputes and propose process enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• More than 4 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or related operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data quality.
• Customer‑oriented attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities.
