Airport Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Airport Maintenance Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day maintenance operations of a major Saudi Arabian airport. The role ensures that all facilities, equipment and infrastructure are kept in optimal condition, supporting safe and efficient air transport.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor weekly and monthly generator schedules and automatic transfer switches (ATS) to guarantee power reliability.
• Oversee testing and maintenance of mechanical systems such as water treatment, sewage, conveyor belts, elevators, escalators, fire‑fighting and gas detection systems.
• Respond promptly to power outages, water supply interruptions and other maintenance‑related disruptions.
• Ensure availability of specialized tools and testing equipment for electrical and electronic systems.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections and preventive maintenance to meet safety standards and approved procedures.
• Develop and manage cleaning schedules, inventory of cleaning supplies and preventive upkeep of cleaning equipment.
• Prepare monthly reports on consumables, spare‑parts inventory and the condition of critical systems.
• Coordinate work permits for corrective, renovation or construction activities, collecting required documentation and liaising with contractors and airport departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising maintenance teams in an airport or large‑scale facility environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and fire‑safety systems.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and execute preventive maintenance programs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
