ALCMS Engineer – Operations & Maintenance

About the role

The ALCMS Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and supervision of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) and Control & Monitoring Systems (CMS) at an airport environment. The role ensures that all lighting and monitoring equipment functions reliably and complies with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise maintenance activities for AGL and CMS equipment.
• Maintain proper checklists, inspection requests and preventive‑maintenance schedules.
• Conduct daily CAT IIIB inspections and address any identified abnormalities.
• Scan AGL circuits as needed to ensure stability of the CLD and CMS systems.
• Coordinate with air‑traffic controllers and airport stakeholders to obtain work permits and schedule interventions.
• Design, test and implement solutions for airfield lighting systems, including CCRs and related control monitoring hardware.

Required profile

• Diploma, B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in operation and maintenance of AGL and CMS.
• Strong knowledge of application engineering, system integration and software configuration.
• Experience with server, application and network device administration.
• Familiarity with airport‑specific systems such as AODB, ASMGCS, AWOS and CAT operations.
