Application Developer

About the role

The Application Developer will support and enhance the organization’s Government Resources System and related internal applications such as HR, finance, procurement, and document management. You will work closely with the Business Analysis Team to translate business needs into technical solutions and provide second‑level support to system users.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in development, updates, and maintenance of the Government Resources System and supporting applications.
• Collaborate with Business Analysis to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
• Gather and analyse requirements for customisations, development, and modification of system procedures.
• Implement change requests, corrective actions from user‑acceptance testing, and produce user guides.
• Provide second‑level support, troubleshoot issues, and respond to user inquiries.
• Identify improvement opportunities to enhance user experience and resolve recurring problems.
• Design data structures and graphical interfaces for internal applications.
• Assist system owners in prioritising development activities and ensure alignment with technical plans.
• Adhere to organizational work controls, cybersecurity policies, and other relevant procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in application development or a related IT field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a comparable discipline.
