Application Engineer

About the role

Join EagleBurgmann Saudi Arabia Ltd. as an Application Engineer, supporting our industrial sealing solutions for oil & gas and petrochemical customers. You will work on‑site in Khobar, collaborating with sales, service and engineering teams to deliver technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply customer and API standards to project specifications.
• Lead technical discussions and presentations at customer sites, supporting the sales team.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet KPIs and company goals.
• Identify bottlenecks, propose proactive solutions, and generate new business opportunities.
• Manage warranty cases, customer complaints, and contract‑related issues.
• Maintain the quality management system and promote QMS awareness.
• Conduct customer training, root‑cause analysis, and troubleshooting support.
• Handle upgrade, retrofit, and non‑strategic projects in coordination with the IP team.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of technical experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of pumps construction, commissioning, operation & maintenance, and sealing technology.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Understanding of mechanical drawings and codes.
• Familiarity with API standards.
• Troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis (RCA) techniques.
• Failure analysis methods.
• Proficiency with MS Office and document management systems.
