Architect – Design & Sustainable Projects

About the role

As an Architect at Gensler you will work with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative design solutions and guide projects from concept through construction documentation. You will translate sketches into detailed 2D/3D models, leverage Revit expertise and support sustainable design initiatives across a range of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, engineering and consulting teams to deliver solutions aligned with client goals.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors and consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustics, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.).
• Resolve complex design and technical issues to produce constructible solutions.
• Develop design presentations, graphics, physical models and 3D renderings for client communication.
• Prepare full construction drawing sets using Revit.
• Lead and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality and clear communication.
• Contribute to proposals, contracts and business development activities.
• Support project financial performance and sustainability targets, coordinating with consultants and conducting climate‑focused analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work across multiple practice areas.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and experience with rating systems such as LEED, WELL, Fitwel or LFA.
