Architectural Technical Engineer

About the role

The Architectural Technical Engineer will ensure that all architectural design documentation, shop drawings and as‑built records meet project standards and local regulations. Working closely with design, BIM and site teams, you will support the delivery of high‑quality architectural finishes across projects in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural design drawings, finishes and shop drawings for compliance with project standards.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural shop drawings, aligning them with the BIM‑coordinated model and site conditions.
• Develop and maintain as‑built drawings for record and handover purposes.
• Generate and verify BOQ take‑offs for architectural and finishing works to support procurement and tendering.
• Lead BIM modelling, coordination and clash detection with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Review material submittals, mock‑ups and finishing samples for technical and aesthetic compliance.
• Coordinate with interior design and specialist finishes teams on technical integration.
• Provide technical support to site architectural engineers on complex detailing issues.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense requirements and relevant international standards.
• Contribute to the development of standard technical details and specification libraries.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience preparing architectural shop drawings and as‑built documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code and civil‑defense regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary BIM teams.
