Area Manager

About the role

The Area Manager will oversee a designated nursing area within Riyadh Care Hospital, ensuring continuous, high‑quality patient care that aligns with the hospital’s mission, vision, and policies. This senior nursing leader coordinates clinical activities, resolves patient concerns promptly, and fosters a patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage nursing staff in the assigned area, maintaining discipline, morale, and compliance with hospital policies.
• Review and guide nursing care plans, supporting the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate with other departments and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and respond to emergencies.
• Act as a clinical resource, advising nurses on clinical issues and acting as a point of contact for VIP or special‑needs patients.
• Monitor and report daily activities, problems, and corrective actions to the Director of Nursing.
• Conduct at least two full rounds per shift to assess patient care delivery and area functioning.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Proven leadership or managerial experience in nursing or healthcare.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle patient complaints and distress effectively.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and adherence to confidentiality standards.
