Assistant Manager, Network Security

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Network Security supports the operational management of network security platforms that protect the organization’s infrastructure, connectivity services and digital environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain enterprise firewall platforms, ensuring traffic inspection policies and segmentation controls are up‑to‑date.
• Administer secure remote access solutions, providing controlled access for internal users and external partners.
• Manage Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) services to secure distributed connectivity.
• Implement and enforce network segmentation policies in collaboration with network operations teams.
• Configure and monitor Network Access Control (NAC) platforms to authenticate devices and enforce access policies.
• Maintain email security gateway configurations and filtering policies to block malicious messages.
• Monitor network security platforms, detect suspicious activity and support incident response.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud and application teams to align security controls with platform requirements.
• Document configurations, standards and operational procedures, and develop runbooks.
• Work with vendors to manage support cases and technology maintenance.
