Assistant Training Manager – Retail & Beauty

About the role

Asteri Beauty is looking for an Assistant Training Manager to support the design and delivery of training programmes for its retail teams. Based at the Riyadh headquarters, the role combines office coordination with regular field visits to stores and wholesale partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Training Manager in identifying training needs and creating action plans to improve retail performance.
• Assist in delivering brand, product knowledge, sales techniques and basic make‑up artistry training for frontline staff.
• Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires across retail and head‑office functions.
• Monitor training participation, track KPIs and help evaluate training effectiveness.
• Conduct store visits to observe performance, provide on‑ground coaching and report findings.
• Maintain training calendars, schedules and digital learning platforms.
• Prepare and distribute training communications such as newsletters and updates.
• Support mystery‑shopping initiatives and analyse feedback to ensure consistent customer experience.
• Collaborate with retail teams on CRM initiatives and customer engagement practices.
• Assist in preparing retail events and product launches, providing on‑site coaching and support.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in training, retail operations or a related field; beauty industry experience is a plus.
• Exposure to retail or wholesale environments, preferably within the GCC.
• Strong interest in coaching, people development and training delivery.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Good knowledge of customer service excellence and sales techniques.
• Organised with strong coordination and follow‑up skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
