Associate or Full Professor – Interior Design

About the role

Effat University College of Architecture and Design is seeking qualified candidates for full‑time faculty positions at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in Interior Design. The successful professor will join a vibrant academic community, teaching both graduate and undergraduate students while advancing the department’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Interior Design using innovative, practice‑oriented methods.
• Enhance and complement the department’s research activities through scholarly work and publications.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and design studios.
• Publish research findings in high‑impact journals.

Required profile

• BSc, MSc and PhD in Interior Design from an accredited university.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Strong commitment to high‑quality teaching and outstanding research.
• Proven record of publications and ability to secure research funding.
• Established relationships with industry partners.
• Excellent management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
