Avionics Technician (MH-60R) – Jubail, Saudi Arabia

About the role

The position is for an experienced Avionics Technician to support MH-60R helicopters stationed in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role involves performing Planned Maintenance Interval inspections, organizational, intermediate and depot level maintenance on H-60 platforms, ensuring all avionics systems are operational and flight‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Execute maintenance, repair and replacement of major avionics assemblies, sub‑assemblies, wiring and connectors on the MH-60R.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, fault detection, isolation and corrective actions on radios, radar, navigation, electronic counter‑measure and GPS equipment.
• Perform Planned Maintenance Interval Inspections (PMI) and other scheduled checks at organizational, intermediate and depot levels.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain ground support and test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators and frequency meters.
• Prepare and update all maintenance documentation, forms, records and reports in accordance with NAMP guidelines.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to Saudi technicians and maintain accurate training records.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years of hands‑on experience with complex helicopter avionics, including installation, testing, overhaul and modification.
• Strong knowledge of radar, navigation, electronic counter‑measure, GPS and weapons computer systems.
• Ability to solve in‑flight avionics problems that cannot be reproduced on the ground.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring schematics and technical directives.
• Understanding of digital and analog computing principles, algebra and trigonometry.
