Business Analyst – Data Lakehouse Program

About the role

The Business Analyst will support TCS's Data Lakehouse Program in Jeddah, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will gather requirements, ensure data quality, and help map legacy reporting to new data structures.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business, IT, EDM, DWH, Data Governance and reporting stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Conduct workshops to understand business processes, reporting needs and data consumption requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and maintain traceability.
• Support logical and physical data model validation and review source‑to‑target mappings.
• Define and validate data quality rules, perform profiling, reconciliation and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with reporting teams to map legacy reports to new Gold Layer structures and facilitate UAT sign‑off.
• Prepare SIT/UAT test scenarios, coordinate business testing and validate functional and data outcomes.
• Produce BRDs, functional specifications, data mapping documents and maintain governance artefacts.

Required profile

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in data‑centric projects.
• Proven ability to run workshops, translate needs into specifications and manage requirement traceability.
• Strong analytical skills for data modeling, mapping validation and data quality activities.
• Experience coordinating SIT/UAT testing and facilitating business sign‑off.
