Business Development Manager – Central Region (Riyadh)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will promote Aon’s risk, retirement and health solutions across the Central Region of Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the role focuses on acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing customers to drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development initiatives in the Central Region, working closely with Riyadh branch colleagues and broader Aon teams.
• Establish, develop and maintain strong client relationships to increase Aon’s market footprint and sales volume.
• Design and execute a strategic sales plan for the territory, setting clear targets, activity plans and performance metrics.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects, qualifying opportunities and driving the full sales cycle from lead identification to closing.
• Conduct regular internal meetings to set goals, review performance and align priorities with senior leadership.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly sales and pipeline reports using company reporting tools.
• Research client and market needs, especially emerging sectors such as e‑commerce and digital businesses, to identify new solution opportunities.
• Gather and communicate client feedback to support service improvements and product innovation.
• Identify and pursue leads through networks, industry events and market intelligence, negotiating terms in line with Aon’s commercial guidelines.
• Monitor competitor activities, regulatory developments and market trends to spot risks and opportunities.
• Develop and execute lead‑generation campaigns, collaborating with Marketing as needed.
• Coordinate local marketing initiatives, seminars and client events to support business development.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of sales activities, opportunities and client interactions in the CRM system.
• Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations, proposals and support RFP/RFQ responses.
