About the role

The Business Intelligence and Reporting Director leads the design, development, and delivery of BI reports and dashboards that enable data‑driven decision‑making across the organization. This senior position oversees the BI function, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, operational efficiency, and compliance with security and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the creation and design of business intelligence reports and dashboards using modern technologies.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and recommendations that support organizational objectives and best practices.
• Propose and implement improvements to operational procedures to increase departmental efficiency.
• Oversee the department’s annual operating budget, monitor performance, and produce periodic financial reports.
• Lead IT components for business projects, delivering innovative BI and analytics solutions.
• Support research activities, providing recommendations on new study topics aligned with organizational goals.
• Select modern data‑analytics technologies and ensure data quality for strategic planning.
• Conduct multi‑dimensional analytics to forecast future service needs and regulatory impacts.
• Supervise security policies for BI applications and advise senior leadership on technical issues.
• Establish operational standards, coordinate with the Organizational Excellence Department, and monitor performance.
• Develop customized dashboards to support digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Data Management Office to manage data sources and enforce data handling policies.
• Coordinate joint work with other departments and prepare procedural manuals for the BI function.
