Capacity Management Monitoring Team Leader

About the role

The Capacity Management Monitoring Team Leader oversees daily operations of the Murex platform, ensuring system stability and aligning technology delivery with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day operations and ensure compliance with SLA standards.
• Manage Murex system jobs, backups and disaster‑recovery sites to maintain application stability.
• Liaise with business units to capture requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement and adoption of best practices.
• Prepare and present statistical reports for senior management decision‑making.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality and environmental policies across the department.
• Handle ad‑hoc assignments and special projects as directed by operations management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6‑8 years of experience in Murex operations or comparable trading systems.
• Proven ability to configure accounting events, books and rules within Murex.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Experience with Sun Unix and Java for system health monitoring and issue escalation.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Murex products and operational configuration.
• Working knowledge of Sun Unix environment.
• Proficiency in Java for scripting and system issue handling.
