CCR Operator – Plant Operations

About the role

We are seeking a CCR Operator to monitor and control unit and plant operation parameters, ensuring safe and efficient performance. The role requires close coordination with other operators and strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental procedures in a remote plant setting.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with all safety rules and be familiar with fire equipment in the area.
• Monitor unit parameters, record periodic readings, and summarize shift activities in log books.
• Follow instructions from the Shift Charge Engineer and Shift Supervisor, coordinating with other operators.
• Respond quickly to abnormal operating conditions and execute lock‑out/tag‑out procedures during maintenance.
• Inspect equipment to ensure parameters stay within limits and report abnormalities.
• Perform periodic protection tests under supervision and maintain records.
• Raise work requests for faulty equipment and follow up on rectifications.
• Assist in training new operators and report near‑misses, deviations, and waste disposal measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering or Engineering Diploma (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CCR or similar plant operator.
• Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 standards is preferred.
• Willingness to work in a remote location.

• Knowledge of firefighting equipment and PPE.
• First‑aid procedures.
• Hazard risk assessment and aspect impact assessment.
• Basic computer skills.
