Reliability Engineer

About the role

Vallourec is looking for a Reliability Engineer to apply proven reliability methodologies that improve machine performance, increase uptime and reduce costs. You will work closely with maintenance teams to define and execute reliability strategies across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Define risk management and safety measures for new machines or projects and conduct risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain reliability‑based maintenance strategies, including asset criticality and VMMS road‑maps.
• Collaborate with maintenance managers, planners and supervisors to secure resources and implement best‑practice maintenance processes.
• Evaluate equipment and process changes, improve weak components based on KPI analysis, and manage asset renewal plans.
• Assess spare‑part criticality and define stock replenishment strategies.
• Support TPM projects and drive predictive maintenance programs to enhance maintainability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or a similar industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of reliability tools and practices such as DRCA, PMO, HERCA, TWTTP, FMEA and MARP.
• Experience with CMMS and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Solid background in mechanical systems and asset lifecycle management.
