Chief Executive Officer

About the role

The organization is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead its building‑materials business across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC. The CEO will be responsible for setting strategic direction, driving growth, and ensuring long‑term profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership – develop and execute the company’s strategic plan to achieve growth and profitability targets.
• Customer Focus – establish long‑term relationships with key customers and manage main key accounts.
• Market Expansion – identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, including high‑margin value‑added products.
• Operational Excellence – oversee all operations, procurement and business activities to ensure alignment with strategy.
• Financial Management – manage budgeting, forecasting and reporting to the Board of Directors.
• Innovation – foster a culture of innovation to drive product development and market differentiation.
• Stakeholder Engagement – build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, investors and regulators.
• Team Leadership – lead, motivate and develop the executive team.
• Risk Management – identify and manage risks to ensure sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience – minimum 10 years of executive leadership in the building‑materials industry, preferably in KSA and GCC, with a proven track record of turning around commodities businesses such as steel and wood.
• Background – experience working with international cooperation in construction or building‑materials sector is an advantage.
• Personal attributes – visionary, innovative, results‑oriented, strong leadership and high integrity.
• Knowledge – in‑depth understanding of the building‑materials market dynamics.
