Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the role

The Chief Operating Officer will lead the facilities management unit for a fast‑growing data‑centre operator in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to senior leadership, the COO will shape operational strategy, drive performance and champion the use of data analytics and AI to transform service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the operational strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Oversee day‑to‑day FM activities across multiple data‑centre sites, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
• Standardise processes, implement best‑practice procedures and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop, monitor and act on KPIs to optimise efficiency and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Leverage data analytics and artificial‑intelligence tools to enhance operational insight and decision‑making.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of innovation and client focus.
• Coordinate travel and on‑site supervision of projects throughout the GCC region.

Required profile

• Saudi citizenship (mandatory).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within data‑centre or large‑scale infrastructure environments.
• Proven track record of leading large FM operations and delivering measurable performance improvements.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi market and regulatory landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑site operations and travel across the Middle East.
