Design Manager (Architect) – LDIP

About the role

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking an experienced Design Manager (Architect) LDIP to lead and oversee the architectural design process for its infrastructure projects. The role involves managing design teams, coordinating activities, and ensuring that all designs meet technical standards, client requirements, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the architectural design team throughout all stages of design development.
• Coordinate and review designs to ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.
• Develop and implement design strategies to optimise project outcomes and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, consultants and other stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Monitor design progress, provide guidance, and manage schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
• Conduct design reviews, approve drawings and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in architectural design, including significant design‑management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction processes and Saudi building codes (preferred).
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
