Civil Inspector

About the role

HanmiGlobal Saudi is looking for a meticulous Civil Inspector to oversee civil construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of civil works, including foundations, structural elements, roadworks, and other infrastructure components.
• Verify that construction work complies with design drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
• Identify and report non‑conformances, defects, or safety hazards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site supervisors to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Support quality control processes and assist in testing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in civil construction inspection or quality control.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
