CNC Maintenance Technician

About the role

The CNC Maintenance Technician ensures the reliable operation of sheet‑metal fabrication equipment in a plant environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and support continuous improvement projects while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC, PLC‑based, laser, punching, bending, and welding machines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults on equipment such as VFDS, CO₂, stud welding machines, powder‑paint and shot‑blast systems.
• Maintain utilities including compressors, electric stackers and high‑speed shutters.
• Generate maintenance reports, keep service records, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to meet KPI targets (e.g., 98% machine uptime).
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and equipment modifications.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics with solid knowledge of sheet‑metal fabrication machinery.
• 5‑7 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably within the sheet‑metal manufacturing sector.
• Familiarity with maintenance practices in the Gulf region.
