Compliance & Government Relations Manager – Quick Commerce

About the role

This role ensures the organization complies with all regulatory requirements while actively managing government relations across assigned quick‑commerce sites. The manager bridges compliance enforcement with proactive engagement with authorities to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the site compliance framework, including licensing, permits, and regulatory documentation.
• Conduct regular compliance audits, gap assessments, and ensure timely renewal of permits and licenses.
• Develop and maintain compliance registers, trackers, and reporting dashboards.
• Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and enforcement agencies.
• Monitor legislative changes, advise leadership, and support branch managers on regulatory interfaces.
• Collaborate with Legal, Operations, and Engineering to integrate compliance and government relations into new site launches and operational changes.
• Provide regular compliance and government relations status reports to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years working cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL.
• Preferred: experience delivering end‑to‑end projects and communicating results to senior leadership, stakeholder management across multiple levels, and building processes and schedules.
