Cybersecurity Penetration Tester – Digital Banking

About the role

The role focuses on uncovering security weaknesses and assessing the resilience of digital banking applications, APIs, networks and cloud environments. You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure the banking platform meets the highest security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing on web, mobile, API, network and cloud components.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and produce detailed risk ratings.
• Execute stress and load testing to evaluate performance and scalability under high‑traffic conditions.
• Simulate cyber‑attack scenarios to test security controls and incident response.
• Analyse findings, recommend remediation, and retest fixes.
• Support compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS and other banking security frameworks.
• Monitor emerging threats and keep testing documentation audit‑ready.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on penetration testing or ethical hacking experience, preferably in banking or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure coding principles and network security.
• Experience with stress, load and performance testing methodologies.
