Demi Chef de Partie – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie will support the kitchen team at Four Points by Sheraton Makkah Al Naseem, preparing a variety of hot and cold dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters, and monitor food quality and quantity.
• Thaw frozen items in refrigeration units and ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish.
• Maintain food logs, record temperature checks and report any safety or quality concerns.
• Communicate with the Chef about excess inventory for daily specials and inform service staff of menu changes.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow all company safety, security and uniform policies, and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen environment.
• Technical or vocational training in culinary arts or related field.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, non‑management position.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive motions.
• Professional attitude with strong communication skills.
