Dental Specialist – Pedodontist

About the role

The Dental Specialist (Pedodontist) will provide comprehensive oral health care to children from their first dental visit through adolescence. Working within Magrabi Hospitals, the role focuses on diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services tailored to pediatric patients.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases and abnormalities of the oral cavity in children.
• Perform clinical procedures including fillings, pulpotomies, root canal treatments, and placement of stainless‑steel crowns.
• Manage fixed and removable orthodontic appliances to maintain space and correct occlusions or habits.
• Deliver preventive care through fluoride applications.

Required profile

• Dental degree (DDS or BDS) from an accredited dental school.
• Diploma or master’s degree from a recognized dental institution.
• At least three years of documented experience in pedodontics after the most recent qualification.

Required skills

• Performing dental fillings.
• Conducting pulpotomies.
• Executing root canal treatments.
• Placing stainless‑steel crowns.
• Fabricating and adjusting fixed orthodontic appliances.
• Fabricating and adjusting removable orthodontic appliances.
