Deputy Manager – Public Relations

About the role

The Deputy Manager, Public Relations will lead and supervise all public‑relations activities for YASREF, ensuring that both internal and external communications support the organization’s operational priorities. This role coordinates media, publications, press formalities and community relations to enhance the company’s public image.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a communications plan aligned with YASREF’s strategy, goals and budget.
• Manage media relations to secure high‑level exposure across print, broadcast and online channels.
• Oversee internal communications such as email, intranet, mobile messaging and cross‑functional updates, and conduct surveys and workshops to improve effectiveness.
• Direct external communications including press releases, conferences, advertising and agency collaborations.
• Maintain positive community and stakeholder relations.
• Produce multimedia content, including photography and videography, to enhance the organization’s image.
• Plan and execute events on time and within budget, monitoring cost effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, operational‑excellence guidelines and corporate social‑responsibility initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Public Relations or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in public relations or communications.
