English‑Chinese Translator & Interpreter

About the role

QIMA is looking for a professional English‑Chinese Translator and Interpreter to support its Factory Auditors. You will enable clear communication between English‑speaking auditors and Chinese‑speaking factory personnel, ensuring audit findings are accurately conveyed.

Key responsibilities

• Translate written materials such as audit reports, technical documents, correspondence, and policies between English and Chinese.
• Provide real‑time interpretation during factory visits, meetings, interviews, and discussions.
• Assist auditors in understanding Chinese regulations, documents, and cultural nuances relevant to audits.
• Act as a communication bridge to guarantee smooth interaction between auditors and factory staff.
• Maintain precise records of translated documents and interpretation sessions for reporting purposes.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and professional conduct when interacting with diverse stakeholders.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese with excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably within a corporate or industrial environment.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and cultural awareness.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• High‑level proficiency in English (C2) and Mandarin Chinese (C2).
• Experience translating technical and audit‑related documents.
• Ability to interpret accurately in fast‑paced, on‑site settings.
