Dermatology Consultant

About the role

The Dermatology Consultant will join the Dermatology department of Nahdi Care Clinics to provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for skin‑related conditions. The role involves direct patient care, clinical leadership, and collaboration with senior medical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take medical histories, and diagnose dermatological conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive health measures related to their conditions.
• Provide second‑opinion consultations and coaching for specialist and senior specialist physicians.
• Support top management with recommendations to improve clinic services and staffing.
• Participate in NCC committees, task forces, and continuous quality‑improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with NCC policies, Saudi health council guidelines, and CBAHI standards.
• Contribute to continuing medical education programs, including rounds, lectures, and journal clubs.

Required profile

• Board‑certified dermatologist licensed to practice in Saudi Arabia.
• Extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of skin disorders.
• Familiarity with Saudi health council regulations and CBAHI accreditation standards.
• Strong commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to departmental initiatives.
