Design Director – Architecture & Interior Design

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and creative Design Director to lead the Architecture and Interior Design function for our hospitality and lifestyle projects. You will shape the overall design vision, ensure quality and consistency, and translate brand and business goals into memorable guest environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture and interior design strategy across all hospitality projects.
• Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and brand principles.
• Oversee concepts from initial idea through development, execution, and site delivery.
• Review and approve layouts, materials, finishes, FF&E, furniture, fixtures, and detailed design elements.
• Balance aesthetics, functionality, operational needs, and commercial objectives.
• Lead external architects, interior designers, consultants, and creative partners.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, FM, Project Management, and other stakeholders.
• Drive value engineering while protecting design intent.
• Conduct design reviews, site visits, and quality assessments.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project standards.
• Manage design timelines, deliverables, priorities, and budgets.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in architecture and interior design, preferably in hospitality, hotel, resort, or mixed‑use developments.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants.
• Strong understanding of guest experience, operational requirements, and commercial constraints.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
