Design Engineer – Valve and Actuation

About the role

Emerson’s Isolation Valves business unit in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Design Engineer to provide engineering support for valve and actuation product lines. The role covers end‑to‑end order engineering, collaborating with global engineering, manufacturing, sales and operations to deliver solutions that meet customer, quality and industry requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, modify and document valve and actuation solutions, creating 3D models, integrated drawings, bills of materials and technical documents.
• Interpret customer specifications, datasheets and international codes to ensure compliant and optimized designs.
• Support sales, quotation and order management teams with technical queries throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain and service teams to support production, procurement and field activities.
• Review and approve internal and supplier drawings, recommending improvements for quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience in product or order engineering within the valve, actuation or industrial automation domain.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English in a professional engineering environment.
• Ownership mindset, urgency and accountability in delivering projects.
