Design Manager - Interior Design

About the role

WSP is seeking a Design Manager – Interior Design to lead the creation of high‑quality interior environments across hospitality, residential, retail and commercial projects. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on design coordination, ensuring that every interior solution aligns with the project vision, brand standards and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage interior design consultants and specialist design packages throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve design concepts, material selections, FF&E packages and detailed design submissions.
• Coordinate interior design interfaces with architectural, MEP and other specialist disciplines.
• Participate in design reviews, presentations and stakeholder workshops.
• Support design development from concept through construction, monitoring quality, programme and consultant performance.
• Assist with mock‑up reviews and obtain design approvals as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience delivering hospitality, retail, commercial or residential interiors.
• Proven ability to manage design teams and oversee complex design packages.
• Strong design review and stakeholder management capabilities.
