Product & Design Intern – Tabby Challenge

About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on product and design experience within Tabby’s fintech ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. Candidates are selected through the open Tabby Imagine challenge, where the strongest submissions earn the position.

Key responsibilities

• Identify a real problem in the Tabby app and drive it from research to shipped change.
• Conduct user interviews, analyse data, and define the problem scope.
• Design solutions in Figma, covering flows, screens, states, and edge cases.
• Iterate designs based on critique from product and design teams.
• Hand off assets to engineers, follow the build through release, and measure post‑launch impact.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product managers, presenting and defending decisions with evidence.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Evidence of product decision‑making beyond visual mock‑ups (challenge entry serves as proof).
• Comfortable creating and prototyping in Figma.
• Clear written communication in Arabic or English.
• Willingness to engage in evidence‑based design discussions.
• Any shipped work (personal app, university project, freelance product work).
• Basic ability to read simple data funnels and metrics.
• Familiarity with front‑end development to gauge implementation effort.
• Interest in fintech, payments, and Saudi consumer behavior.

Required skills

• Figma (components, prototyping, handoff).
• Basic data analysis (interpreting funnels, metrics).
• Front‑end awareness (HTML/CSS/JS concepts).
• Written Arabic or English.
